The stadium
Emirates Stadium is the modern centre of Arsenal match day, with the old Highbury site and the streets around Holloway adding the club's history to the walk in. Arrive early enough to see the area fill rather than treating the stadium as a single stop.
Match-day plan
Use central London or King's Cross as a practical stay base, then travel north with time for controlled station access around kick-off. After the match, nearby pubs and restaurants are busy; a short walk away from the main station queues can make the return easier.
Build the weekend
London makes a second fixture or evening event realistic, but cross-city travel can consume more time than the map suggests. In winter, keep the itinerary compact and indoors; in spring and early autumn, the north London neighbourhoods are easier to explore before an afternoon or evening kick-off.
